READY FOR BUSINESS!

This weekend I made so much progress. The panels went up and the merchandise moved in! It has taken a few weeks to get everything pulled together but I finally made it happen. My original plan was to have the panels extending all the way down the sides of our space. However, a shortage of fabric and $$$ meant making the best out of what we had. Fortunately, Ali @ DRW (Designer Rug Warehouse) who also works out of Horizon Home suggested hanging rugs in leu of panels. I think it turned out great.

While tagging and recording our inventory, I noticed the space got a good deal of traffic compared to the day before when I was hanging the panels and things weren't so pulled together. I even had a couple interested in buying a pair of chairs--the only thing they couldn't agree on was which room to put them in.

So, here are pics of the space after a weekend's worth of work. I'm excited to start promoting the business and finding new consigners! One day at a time and eventually it all comes together.

 FINALLY, THINGS ARE COMING TOGETHER!
Allyn & I found the gold letters at an antique market months ago.

A personal favorite piece of mine is the antique metal mailbox sitting on the floor. It's super heavy and still has the box numbers on it. I thought it would be a great window box or just used an organizer.

We found these antique chairs and pedestals at the same antique market as the gold letters.
They have a significant amount of age on them.

The chocolate velvet wing chairs are another personal favorite.
These are the chairs I had a couple looking at today.

The mirrored dividers are one-of-a-kind. They can be sold separate or as a pair.
You don't see these often and they are usually really expensive.
